This Privacy Policy describes the policies and procedures of Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun with respect to the collection, use and disclosure of personal information received from users of www.docrun.com (or corresponding sites through social media outlets like Facebook or through corresponding applications on mobile devices (collectively, the "Site") and users of the associated services, forums, databases, websites, and applications offered or made available by Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun (collectively together with the Site, the "Services").
This Privacy Policy applies only to information that you provide to us through the Services and not to information we collect by other means or from other sources. This Privacy Policy may be updated and revised from time to time. We will provide notice of any material changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on the Site. You are advised to consult this policy regularly for any changes. By using the Site, you acknowledge your agreement to the terms of our privacy policy. Your continued use of the Site shall constitute your acceptance of any changes in our privacy policy.

This personal information, such as a first and last name, valid e-mail address, mailing address, telephone number and/or credit card billing data, may be necessary to sign up or register for any Service or to purchase products, services, memberships, subscriptions, postings, enter a promotion or sweepstakes, or otherwise transact business with us. You can choose not to provide certain information, but then you might not be able to use or take advantage of our Services.
Information We Collect Automatically
We receive and store certain types of information whenever you interact with us. For example, we may automatically record your activity on the Site and in the Services, the time and date or your activities, your IP address, browser type and similar information. Also, we may automatically send and receive information to and from your computer which we use to automatically update (new features, bug fixes, etc.) our products and services that you may use. Information We Collect From Your Social Networking Sites
When you use Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun on a social networking site or application or when you connect to a social networking site or application through the Site, we may record information regarding your use of the Service. We may also collect other information that is visible on your social networking site or application when permitted by that social networking site's or application’s terms of use as well as collecting additional information that you chose to allow your social networking site or application to provide to Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun. This information may include, but is not limited to, your name, your age, your e-mail address, the location of your computer or handheld device, your profile picture, gender, and the pictures and names of your social networking site "friends", your “likes” as well as other basic information regarding your social networking site "friends" that may be provided by the social networking site to Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun.
You may choose not to allow your social networking site to provide us with certain information about you, but then you might not be able to use the Services or take advantage of the Service’s core features.
Cookies and Other Files
Like many websites, we may use "cookies" to collect information. A cookie is a small data file that we transfer to your computer's memory for record-keeping purposes. We may use cookies to improve the quality of the Services, including for storing user preferences and tracking user trends. We may utilize persistent cookies to save your registration/member ID and login password for future logins to the Services. We may utilize session ID cookies to enable certain features of the Services, to better understand how you interact with the Services and to monitor aggregate usage by Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun users and web traffic routing on the Services. When you use the Services, we may employ clear GIFs (also known as web beacons) or similar mechanisms which are used to track the online usage patterns of our users anonymously. No personally identifiable information from your Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun account is collected using these clear GIFs. In addition, we may also use clear GIFs in HTML-based emails sent to our users to track which emails are opened by recipients. The information is used to enable more accurate reporting and make the Services better for our users.
How Your Information is Used
Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun may use the information we collect from and about you for any of the following purposes:
To better understand how users access and use our products and services on an aggregated and individual basis, for the purposes of improving out products and services or fixing technical or other errors or problems, and to respond to user desires and preferences.
To provide personalized experiences and recommendations, language and location customization, personalized help and instructions, or other responses to your and other customers' usage of our products and services.
To provide the Services to you, to communicate with you concerning your account or membership or your usage of or participation in the Services, and for other customer service, This will likely include use of your e-mail address to send you messages and notices for the purposes described above and below.
To offer you content, services, or other products and services.
To track memberships, purchases and usage as necessary for the purpose of our complying with any third party agreements or obligations (such as, for example, making royalty or other payments to third parties). When is Information Shared?
Information about our users is an important part of our business. We share user information only as compatible with the purposes described above, when we have your consent (as may be provided by you from time to time through the Services or otherwise) and as described in this section as follows.
We may employ other companies and individuals to perform functions on our behalf. Examples include sending postal mail and e-mail, removing repetitive information from customer lists, analyzing data, providing marketing assistance (including data concerning marketing and promotional programs), processing credit card payments, developing websites and software, providing customer service or for other purposes within the ordinary course of business. The Site and applications may contain links to other sites not owned or controlled by Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun and Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun is not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites. This includes links from advertisers, sponsors and partners that may use our Site's logo. These other websites may engage in their own use of cookies, independently collect data or solicit personal information and may or may not have their own published privacy policies. If you visit a website that is linked to our Site, you should consult that site's privacy policy before providing any personal information.
The Site may make chat rooms, forums and message boards available to its users. You are not required to provide any personal information when using these areas but you may choose to do so. If you post personal information online, it will be publicly available and you may receive unsolicited messages from other parties. Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun cannot ensure and is not responsible for the security of any information you choose to make public in a chat room, forum, or message board. Also, we cannot ensure that parties who have access to such publicly available information will respect your privacy. Please exercise caution when deciding to disclose personal information in these areas.
The Company may provide automatic and voluntary account-related alerts. Automatic alerts may be sent to you following certain changes made to your online account. Voluntary account alerts may be turned on by default as part of the Site or Services. They may then be deactivated, changed or reactivated by you. The Company may, in its sole discretion, add new alerts or cease to provide certain alerts at any time. Electronic alerts will be sent to the email address you have provided as your primary email address for the Site. You are responsible for informing the Company of any change of your registered email address. You understand and agree that any alerts provided to you through the Site or Services may be delayed or prevented by a number of factors. The Company neither guarantees the delivery nor the accuracy of the content of any alert. You also agree that Company shall not be liable for (1) any delays, failure to deliver, or the misdirected delivery of any alert; (2) any errors in the content of an alert; or (3) for any actions taken or not taken by you or any third party in reliance of any such alert.
Under no circumstances will the Company be responsible for any wireless email or text messaging charges incurred by a user or by a person that has access to a user's wireless device, telephone number or email address.
As part of the Services, Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun's users may communicate with other users, Service participants and non-registered users through use of their accounts. In some cases, where our users have selected the option of adding one or more email addresses to an online form, the message they create in the corresponding template will be sent from Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun to those email addresses on their behalf. These email addresses may be stored in connection with the user’s account and will be used only for the purpose of sending the email communication to the addressee.
Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun may use third-party advertising companies to serve ads on our site and on the Services. Our advertisers may use other third-party advertising technology to target advertising on other sites. In the course of advertisements being served to you, a unique third-party cookie or cookies may be placed on your computer. Similarly, third-party advertising companies may provide us with pixel tags (also called "clear gifs" or "beacons") to help manage and optimize our online advertising. Beacons enable us to recognize a browser's cookie when a browser visits the site on which the beacon is located, and to learn which banner ads bring users to a given site.
Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun does not provide any personal information to third-party advertising companies. Note, however, that if an advertiser asks Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun to show an advertisement to users with certain characteristics (for example, women ages 21-30) or a segment of that group (for example, women ages 21-24 who have viewed certain categories of content) and you respond to that advertisement, the third-party advertising company may conclude that you have the characteristics of the audience they are trying to reach.
Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun may permit you to register to receive e-mail newsletters, sweepstakes offers, or updates in the future by providing your email address. Any e-mail you receive Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun will allow you to "unsubscribe" from this informational service at any time. A link to "unsubscribe" will be found at the bottom of the email or promotion. Alternatively, you can send an email back to us with "unsubscribe" somewhere in the message or send an email to jon@docrun.com.
All users who have signed up or registered on the Site may review, update, correct or delete the personal information in their registration or membership profile by changing the applicable information in their account settings or, for Services that are hosted on a social networking site or remote application, by changing the applicable information in their profile page. If you completely delete all such information, then your account may become deactivated. If you would like us to delete your records or personal data in our system, please contact us and we will attempt to accommodate your request if we do not have any legal obligation to retain the record or legitimate business need to retain such information. Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun is very concerned with safeguarding your information and will employ administrative, physical, and electronic measures designed to protect your information from unauthorized access. Although we will make our best efforts to take these security measures, we can not warrant that these measures will be perfect given the nature of the internet.
"Masking" is a function of using programming techniques such that the displayed URL does not match the actual pages being viewed (e.g. user is on www.abc.com, but the URL displayed is www.xyz.com). In certain circumstances, Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun may use Masking and, although it may appear you are on www.docrun.com, you may be on a different site. This means you may be transferred to a third party's site in which case the privacy policy of that applicable third party site will apply.
Your information may be transferred to, and maintained on, computers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction where the privacy laws may not be as protective as those in your jurisdiction. If you are located outside the United States and choose to provide information to us, Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun transfers personal information to the United States and processes it there and your submission of such information represents your consent to that transfer and to the applicable jurisdiction.

The Services are not directed to children under 13. In accordance with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act ("COPPA"), Owl Territory, Inc. dba DocRun will not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will delete such information from our files.
